- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter, salted
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- ICING...
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 stick butter
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 2 cups chopped nuts
How To Make mimi's chocolate sheet cake

Step 1Mix the first five ingredients in a bowl and set to the side. Bring to boil the next four ingredients and combine with the dry ingredients.

Step 2Add the remaining three ingredients and mix well, do not use an electric mixer.

Step 3Bake in a greased and floured 13x9 sheet cake pan at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. It should spring back in the middle when lightly touched.

Step 4Bring to boil the first three ingredients of the frosting, boil for 1 minute. Add the powdered sugar and nuts, and pour it over the hot cake. Important...pour and spread the warm icing over the warm cake!
