Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 large egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • 1/3 teaspoon cream of tarter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To Make marshmallow icing

  • Step 1
    Boil sugar and water until rapid boil and sugar is dissolved; add slowly to egg whites. While still warm, add cream of tarter and vanilla; beat until bowl is cool. Yield enough for 1 cake.
