I LOVE mint and chocolate together. My family also loves the Orange Chocolate version. Easy to make and they always impress! These have become my husband's "Birthday Cake"

Ingredients For marbled mint brownies
- CHOCOLATE PORTION

1/2 cbutter

1/4 ccocoa powder

2 lgeggs

1/2 tspsalt

1 csugar

1/2 cflour
-
1 tsp tspvanilla extract
- MINT PORTION

1/2 cbutter

2 lgeggs

1/2 tspsalt

3/4 cflour

green food coloring
-
1 tspmint extract (or more to taste)
How To Make marbled mint brownies

1Preheat oven to 350 F or 325 F for darker or glass pans. (Glass and darker pans cook faster!)

2CHOCOLATE FIRST! Melt butter with cocoa in microwave. Stir and set aside.

3Crack eggs into medium bowl and whisk until combined. Add sugar, flour, salt and vanilla. Top with butter/cocoa mixture then stir until combined. Set aside.

4MINT NEXT! Crack eggs into medium bowl and whisk until combined. Add sugar, flour, salt and mint extract. Stir to combine. Add food coloring until desired tint is achieved.

5Drop batter into a greased 9x13 pan in a checkerboard pattern and marble with a knife. Sprinkle chocolate chips onto batter before baking. Bake for 40 minutes or until tests done. Enjoy!
