Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 14 ounces can crushed pineapple in syrup
- 1/3 cup corn starch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter, cold
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 16 ounces container of cool whip
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - red food coloring drops
How To Make love dove cake

Step 1Bake Cake by Directions on Box and let cool.

Step 2Cook pineapple, corn starch, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in a double boiler until clear and thick.

Step 3Add butter, lemon juice and vanilla and mix in well.

Step 4Cool thoroughly.

Step 5Mix Cool Whip and sour cream w/ a few drops of red food coloring (until mixture is pink).

Step 6Ice cake with cool whip icing. Put pineapple topping just on top.

Step 7Keep refrigerated.
