Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 package store-bought angel food cake
- 2 packages strawberry gelatin (3 oz each)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 16 ounces frozen strawberries
How To Make linda's frozen strawberry cake

Step 1Stir softened ice cream.

Step 2Tear angel food cake into small pieces and place them into a large mixing bowl. Stir angel food cake into softened vanilla ice cream.

Step 3Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.

Step 4Add frozen strawberries and stir until cooled.

Step 5Mix the gelatin and strawberries with the cake and ice cream mixture.

Step 6Line a tube pan with plastic wrap.

Step 7Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

Step 8Cover and freeze until solid; overnight if needed.

Step 9When ready to serve, turn it out onto a plate. Slice when ready to serve. Cover leftovers tightly with foil and store in the freezer.
