- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can lemon pie filling
- 8 ounces cool whip
How To Make lemon poke cake

Step 1COOK CAKE IN 13 X 9 PAN AS INSTRUCTED ON THE BOX. AFTER IT HAS COOLED, TAKE A LARGE WOODEN SPOON HANDLE (1/2 INCH WIDE) AND POKE ABOUT 70 HOLES IN THE CAKE.

Step 2OPEN THE LEMON PIE FILLING AND MASH SOME OF THE FILLING IN EACH HOLE. SPREAD THE REST OF THE FILLING ON TOP OF THE CAKE.

Step 3SPREAD THE COOL WHIP ON TOP OF THE LEMON PIE FILLING. REFRIGERATE THE CAKE. ALWAYS MAKE THIS CAKE THE DAY BEFORE YOU SERVE IT.
