My friend Donna gave me this recipe, This is my husbands Favorite Lemon cake. It is a Wonderful Lemon cake ... you gotta LOVE Lemon and we do !

Ingredients

1 small box lemon jello
1 cup hot water
1 box lemon cake mix
5 - eggs
3/4 cup corn oil
1/4 cup juice of 2 lemons (maybe a little more juice,1/4 not quite enough - 1/2 too much)
1 cup xxx sugar

How To Make lemon - lemon cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375

Step 2

dissolve jello in HOT water and let cool ...
Step 3

Mix lemon cake mix with eggs and oil ... beat on medium speed for 2 mins ... fold Jello mixture into cake and bake as directed on pkg. Make frosting ... combine Lemon juice and powdered sugar
Step 4

Remove from oven poke holes all over cake with a long tined fork ... Pour frosting all over cake while while still warm. Cool and enjoy!~
