1 boxlemon cake mix (do not follow directions on box)
3/4 cvegetable oil
1 pkgsmall box lemon jello
3/4 cpowdered sugar
3 Tbsplemon juice
·enough milk to make a spreadable glaze
How to Make Lemon Jello Cake
- Pre-heat oven to 350*.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan
- In a large bowl,combine cake mix, oil, water, eggs and jello.
Beat with mixer on medium-high speed for 4 minutes.
- Pour into pan and bake 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- As soon as cake is done and is hot, use a meat fork or skewer and punch holes all over cake.
Spread glaze all over cake--glaze will melt down into cake. Let cool and serve with whipped cream.
3/4 cup powdered sugar (sift if you like)
3 TBS butter
3 TBS Lemon Juice
Enough milk to make a spreadable glaze
- Can make this cake using other flavors: just match up cake mix and jello, and if possible, juice in the glaze.
I have made Cherry and Orange versions.
