I got this recipe from Taste of Home. Really good & moist. Next time I make it I'm going to try strawberry, cherry, or blueberry pie filling!!

Ingredients

2 c
buttermilk
1 c
sugar

eggs
2 Tbsp
butter or marg., melted
2 tsp
vanilla
3 c
flour
1 1/4 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 can(s)
lemon pie filling
topping:
1 c
flour
2/3 c
sugar
1/3 c
cold butter or marg. cubed

How to Make Lemon Crumb Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large bowl beat first 5 ingredients.
  • 2Combine dry ingredients.
    Gradually add to mixture.
  • 3Grease 9x13 pan.
    Pour mixture into pan.
  • 4Drop pie filling by teaspoons onto cake mixture.
  • 5Combine topping by cutting in butter until mixture is crumbly texture.
    I used a pastery cutter, pictured.
  • 6Sprinkle topping over cake mixture.
  • 7350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
