Ingredients

1 call purpose flour

1/3 cpowdered sugar

1/2 csoftened butter

1 largeegg. beaten

1-1/2 csugar

3 Tbspflour
-
3/4 tspbaking powder

3 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 tsplemon extract
-
1 tsplemon zest, grated
How to Make LEMON BARS (SALLYE)
- Mix first three ingredients well.
Pat into a 9x13 baking pan
Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees (Do not brown)
Remove from oven and set aside - Place all other ingredients into large bowl
Mix well with wooden spoon
Pour over baked crust mixture
Place in oven and cook 20-25 minutes until lightly browned - Sprinkle with powdered sugar
Cool, then cut into squares
These can be frozen
