Large Pound Cake

3 1/2 cwhite lily flour, all purpose
3 1/2 csugar, granulated
2 ccrisco butter shortening
1/4 tspcream of tartar
2 tspvanilla, butter, nut flavoring
1 tsplemon extract
How to Make Large Pound Cake
- Cream sugar and shortening well. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour after sifting and mix into batter. Add cream of tartar and flavorings.
- Grease and flour large tube pan. (I use Baker's Joy or Pam Baking Spray.)
- Bake one and a half to two hours at 325 degrees.
- After cooking, dust cake with powdered sugar. Serve with your favorite fruit and topping.
