Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 box devils food cake mix
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 large eggs
- CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
- 1 stick butter at room temp
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 16 pinches powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- TO FINISH THE CAKE
- 9 regular size kit kat bars 36 individual sticks
- 12 ounces bag m & m's
- ribbon optional
How To Make kit kat cake

Step 1Prepare the cake. Preheat oven 325 degrees. Grease 2 round cake pans and add 6 liners to a cupcake pan. You will have 6 cupcakes along with the cake.

Step 2In a large bowl add the cake mix, flour, sugar and salt. With an electric mixer add the remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. Fill the cupcake lines about 3/4 full. Add the remaining cake mix to the 2 round pans. Bake about 35 to 40 minutes. Remove cake rounds to a rack and allow to cool completely.

Step 3For the frosting In a large bowl beat the butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer. Add the powdered sugar milk and vanilla. Microwave the chocolate chips until melted and smooth. stir the melted chips into the frosting. Beat until smooth

Step 4To assemble the cake. Place on layer on serving plate and frost with frosting. Add the second layer on top and frost the top and sides of the cake.

Step 5Place the Kit Kat bars to the side by side to the side of the cake. Secure with a ribbon if using.

Step 6Pour the M & M 's on top.
