How to Make King Cake
- Mix ingredients for dough; separate into 2 equal portions. Place on floured board and roll out into rectangles about 1/4" thick.
- Soften cream cheese and mix ingredients for filling. Spread filling over the dough.
- Roll dough sections from long side. Twist the two sections around each other and place in greased tube baking pan.
- Let rise in warm place until double sized (about 1 hour).
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
- Let cool completely. While cooling, mix ingredients for glaze. When cooled, glaze.
- For added fun, separate glaze into three parts and add purple, green and yellow food coloring, then glaze your cake!
