I clearly remember the very first time that I made this frosting... it ended with my husband and daughter in an all out brawl on the kitchen floor to see who was going to lick the beaters and the bowl clean... ahhh... good memories... Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3-4 tablespoons half and half or milk

How To Make johnson's bakery peanut butter frosting

  • Step 1
    In medium bowl combine butter and peanut butter with a mixer at low speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  • Step 2
    Add powdered sugar, gradually, along with vanilla and enough milk to reach your desired consistency. Continue to beat at low speed, scraping bottom and sides often, until creamy.
