1 boxduncan hines butter yellow cake mix
2 cpowdered sugar
1/2 cfresh lemon juice
1zest of one lemon
1/4 cmelted butter
How to Make Joan's Lemon Glazed Cake
- Bake cake as directed on box. It's best to use a disposable 13x9 foil cake pan. While it's baking, prepare the icing.
- As soon as you take cake from oven, punch holes in the cake with a big cooking fork.
- Pour the icing all over the cake so that it goes down into the holes.
- Let cool completely, then sprinkle with more powdered sugar. It's especially good if you make it the day before.
