Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 - eggs
- 3 cups carrots, grated
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- FROSTING
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 stick soft butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temp.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make jill's carrot cake

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 X 9 pan.

Step 2Cream sugar and eggs, Add oil, nuts and carrots. Add sifted ingredients.

Step 3Pour into the prepared 13 X 9" pan. Bake for 45 to 50 mins.

Step 4Cool cake completely.

Step 5While cake is cooling, combine all frosting ingredients. Mix well.

Step 6When cake is cooled frost.
