Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 - eggs
- 1/4 cup orange juice, fresh
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 - apples . peeled , cored & sliced
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 5 tablespoons sugar
How To Make jewish apple cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 F , Grease & flour 1 10 inch tube pan or a bundt pan will do to. Combine the ground cinnamon , 5 tablespoons of sugar and apples . mix them then set aside for now.

Step 2In large mixing bowl , combine flour, salt , baking powder , 2 cups sugar , stir in veg oil , beaten eggs , orange juice and vanilla . mix well

Step 3pour 1/2 of the batter into prepared pan , top with 1/2 apple mixture . pour the remaining batter over the apples then pour remaining batter then top that with the remaining apple mixture .

Step 4Bake at 350 f for 70 to 90 minutes . either serve warm , or if you want to serve warm with vanilla ice cream on top .
