My friend made this ice cream cake for her son's birthday and it was outstanding. I just had to share her recipe.

Ingredients

1 box ice cream sandwiches
1 jar hot fudge sauce
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
1 package cool whip

How To Make ice cream cake

Step 1

In a freezer safe baking dish, approx. 9 x 11, place one layer of ice cream sandwiches in bottom of pan.

Step 2

spread a layer of caramel topping over first layer of ice cream sandwiches.
Step 3

add another layer of ice cream sandwiches on top of caramel topping.
Step 4

spread a layer of fudge sauce on top of second layer of ice cream sandwiches.
Step 5

final layer, spread cool whip on top of fudge sauce
Step 6

then place in freezer. Let freeze for at least an hour before serving.
