How to Make Bread Flour

- all purpose flour
- 4 tsp
- wheat gluten
Mix the ingredients. Place the flour in the large bowl. Add a teaspoon at a time of wheat gluten, mixing it into the flour.
Store and label. Once the ingredients are mixed together, store them in a sealed container. This container should be airtight and able to prevent moisture from seeping through. You can put your bread flour in a sealed plastic bag or canister, just as long as your bread flour is kept dry. Label your bread flour so that you do not use it as if it were all-purpose flour.
Please note that you can simply make the amount you need for a recipe by adding one teaspoon of wheat gluten for every cup of all-purpose flour that you use. Follow the bread recipe you are using so that you make bread flour in the quantities you need. For a healthier bread flour, try using wheat flour!
