To make recipes Gluten Free, there is King Arthur Gluten Free flour and Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Flour. I have seen some comments from people asking about how to adjust recipes to be Gluten Free so, I have posted the following information:

Ingredients

  • ADJUSTING A RECIPE TO BE GLUTEN FREE, XANTHAN GUM OR GUAR GUM MUST BE ADDED:
  • THE FOLLOWING CHART IS ON THE BOB'S RED MILL GLUTEN FREE FLOUR:
  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum for cookies
  • 1/2 teaspoon for cakes
  • 3/4 teaspoon for muffins & quick breads
  • 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons for breads
  • 2 teaspoons for pizza crusts

How To Make how to adjust recipe to be gluten free

  • Step 1
    Use the quantities suggested of Xanthan Gum per cup of flour used. For example, if you are making cookies with 3 cups flour, you should add 3/4 tsp of Xanthan Gum.
