Ingredients

  • CUPCAKES

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 3/4 c
    a.p. flour
  • 3/4 c
    hershey's cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1/boi2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    milk
  • CHOCOLATE FROSTING

  • 1/3 c
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    hershey's cocoa
  • 3 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. From the cupcake list of ingredients in a large bowl combine the dry ingredients. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
  2. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Add the boiling water. Batter will be thin. Pour 2/3 full into greased cupcake pans or muffin cups. Bake 22-24 minutes. Cool.
  3. For the Frosting:
    Melt the butter and stir in cocoa. Add powdered sugar and milk, beating on medium to spreading consistency. Stir in vanilla.
