hershey syrup cake
My dad use to make this cake all the time when we were young. Only he would use vanilla frosting with marachino cherries and walnuts on top. both ways are amazing

Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sifted cake flour
- 1 stick butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon each baking powder and vanilla
- 1 can 16 oz hershey syrup
- FROSTING
- 1 - bar bakers sweet chocolate
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups powdered sugar more or less for desired consistency
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make hershey syrup cake

Step 1Mix all ingredients for cake together in large bowl. Bake in 350 degrees oven in a greased 9 X 13 pan for 50 minutes. Cool completely

Step 2For frosting melt the chocolate butter and water together on stove. Beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread on cooled cake
