How To Make salted butterscotch poke cake?

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.Add butterscotch chips

3Beat cake mix,water,egg whites,oil and butterscotch ice cream topping together in a bowl using a electric mixer on medium speed until batter is smooth,about 2 minutes.

4Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.Sprinkle with chopped butterscotch candies.

5Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean,for 30 to 35 minutes.Poke the holes into the cake,with a wooden skewer.

6To make Cream of Salted Butterscotch:in a medium saucepan,combine heavy cream,margarine,butterscotch syrup and sea salt over medium heat,stirring constantly,for 5 mintues.Remove the heat.

7After that,pour over the warm cake with holes.Cool completely,about 1 hour.

8To make Salted Butterscotch Whipped Topping:in a medium bowl,combine whipped topping,buterscotch ice cream topping,cream cheese and sea salt well until smooth.
