Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1 cup fat-free milk
- 1/2 cup natural applesauce
- 1 large egg
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup wymans wild blueberries, frozen, or any other brand wild blueberries
How To Make healthy wild blueberry-bran muffins

Step 1Heat oven to 325. Spray muffin cups w/ cooking spray. In bowl, mix together wheat bran and milk. Let sit for 10 mins.

Step 2In lg bowl, mix together applesauce, egg, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat in bran mix. In another bowl, sift together flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Step 3Stir dry mix into bran mix until moistened. Fold in blueberries. Spoon mix into muffin cups, 2/3 full. Bake 15-20 mins, or until tops spring back when touched.
