2 csugar

2 call purpose flour

1/2 ccocoa powder

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

2eggs

1 cvegetable oil

1 csoured milk (add 1 tsp. vinegar to milk)

1 tspvanilla extract

1 cboiling water
- FROSTING

1/2 cbutter
-
1/4 ccocoa powder
-
6 Tbspmilk

4 cpowdered sugar
How To Make granny's chocolate oil cake

1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan.

2In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add the rest of the ingredients for the cake. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed

3Pour into prepared pan, and bake 35 - 40 minutes until done.

4When cake is almost done baking prepare frosting. Heat butter, cocoa, and milk to boiling. Pour over powdered sugar and mix well.

5Allow cake to cool for about 10 minutes. Poke small holes in the cake, I use the end of a wooden spoon, then frost the cake while still warm.
