Ingredients
- 1 pint blueberries, washed & drained well
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make grampa's bluberry pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease & flour a 10-inch tube pan. Gentle fold blueberries in 1/4 cup of flour & set aside.

Step 2CAKE BATTER: Use mixer to cream butter & sugar; add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each egg is added. Add vanilla & beat until fluffy.

Step 3Sift remaining flour with baking powder & salt; fold into cake batter until well blended.

Step 4Gently stir in berries. Pour in prepared pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes or until cake tests done with a cake tester.

Step 5Place on a rack & cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
