gooey butter bars
If anyone has ever had a Neium Marcus Butter Bar then you will love this recipe. Made it last night and wow. My husband said it would make him hurt himself they were so good. The recipe was so easy and simple I thought I would mess it up. Really!!

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 - eggs
How To Make gooey butter bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 pan.

Step 2In medium bowl, combine yellow cake mix,2 eggs and butter. Mix until blended. Spread mixture in bottom of pan.

Step 3In a separate medium bowl, combine powdered sugar, cream cheese and 2 more eggs. With hand mixer, mix until smooth. Spread over cake mixture.

Step 4Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Edges will be brown. The middle will set, but will still be wobbly. Let cool on counter for 30 minutes. Then put in refrigerator for 2 hours up to 2 days. Slice and enjoy.
