If you miss the taste of Starbuck's Orange cake this one is close. This recipe is actually easier....you don't need to boil your oranges before making the recipe. Oh so yummy too.

Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free flour mix
- 1/2 cup almond meal
- 3/4 teaspoon xantham gum
- 1/2 cup milk powder or whey powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- - rind of 1 orange
- - juice from 2 oranges, room temperature
- 8 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- - 1 large egg plus 1 egg white, lightly beaten
How To Make gluten free orange cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease and 8x8 pan set aside. Squeeze juice from 2 room temperature oranges ( juice should equal 2/3 cup) If you don't get enough juice from 2 oranges just add enough water for it to come to 2/3 cup total. place dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Add wet ingredients and combine. Mix well.

Step 2Transfer to prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes. If you want to make into cupcakes grease a 12-cup muffin tin filling 3/4 full and bake 19 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
