german chocolate frosting
This is an old recipe that I never figured out how I got it. I am always asked to bring this to a pot luck or to a dinner. This is really good for a topping on a pan of brownies or a dish of ice cream. My family will just eat it out of the pan if I let them. Out of old blue recipe box.

Frost one cake plus leftovers
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 + cups shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 + cup chopped nuts
How To Make german chocolate frosting

Step 1Add all ingredients to a pot. Bring to a boil. Turn down, simmer for 1 minute. Put on cake or brownies. Add more nuts or coconut to your taste.
