This cake is always requested at the dessert table at Church dinners! It is a fruit cake that actually gets eaten!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    white cake mix
  • 1 pkg
    instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 can(s)
    fruit cocktail, in syrup
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    oil
  • 1/4 c
    pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar (light or dark is okay)

How to Make Fruit Cocktail Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Lightly spray 9x13 cake pan.
  2. Mix all ingredients except brown sugar in large bowl. (Works best with electric mixer! - and it will be a thick batter)
  3. Sprinkle top with brown sugar.

    Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool.

    Serve topped with whipped cream.
