This cake is always requested at the dessert table at Church dinners! It is a fruit cake that actually gets eaten!

Ingredients

  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 can fruit cocktail, in syrup
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark is okay)

How To Make fruit cocktail cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 9x13 cake pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients except brown sugar in large bowl. (Works best with electric mixer! - and it will be a thick batter)
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle top with brown sugar. Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool. Serve topped with whipped cream.
