This is a cake my Grandmother would make . My Dad requested it on his birthday every year, tho we had it more often than 1x a year.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1 large can of fruit cocktail w/juice
- 1 stick butter, cold
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 can evaperated canned milk
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
How To Make fruit cocktail cake

Step 1combine- 1 1/2 cups sugar - 1/2 tsp salt -2 tsp soda - 2 cups of flour

Step 2add - 2 eggs - 1 large can of fruitcocktal w/juice -

Step 3Mix and pour into greased 8x12 cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar over cake. Cook in preheated 350degree oven for 45 minutes

Step 4in a sauce pan add--- butter-sugar-evaperated milk. Cook until thick. ADD-vanilla-coconut

Step 5frost cake when cool.
