Fruit Cocktail Cake

My Dad requested it on his birthday every year, tho we had it more often than 1x a year.
Ingredients

1 1/2 csugar
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2 cflour
-
2 tspbaking soda
-
2 largeeggs
-
1 largecan of fruit cocktail w/juice
-
1 stickbutter, cold
-
3/4 csugar
-
1/2 can(s)evaperated canned milk
-
3 tspvanilla
-
1/2 ccoconut
-
1/4 cbrown sugar
How to Make Fruit Cocktail Cake
- combine-
1 1/2 cups sugar - 1/2 tsp salt -2 tsp soda -
2 cups of flour - add -
2 eggs - 1 large can of fruitcocktal w/juice - - Mix and pour into greased 8x12 cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar over cake.
Cook in preheated 350degree oven for 45 minutes - in a sauce pan add--- butter-sugar-evaperated milk.
Cook until thick.
ADD-vanilla-coconut - frost cake when cool.
