- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 cups peeled and chopped apples
How To Make fresh apple cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Grease a 9x 13 inch pan.

Step 3Combine oil, sugar, and eggs.

Step 4Stir in flour and baking soda.

Step 5Add vanilla, pecans, and apples.

Step 6Spread in prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.

Step 7Cool for 2 hours.

Step 8Then prepare frosting.

Step 9FROSTING: 1/2 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar, packed 1/4 cup evaporated milk 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Step 10Boil all ingredients in a small saucepan for 2 minutes.

Step 11Set pan in bowl filled with ice water.

Step 12Beat icing until of spreading consistency.

Step 13Spread over top of cake.
