Eggnog Cheese Cake

Ingredients

CRUST

1 cgraham wafer crumbs vanilla wafer crumbs or cholate wafer crumbs...i used vanilla wafer crumbs

3 Tbspmelted butter

2 Tbspgranulated sugar

FILLING
-
1 1/2 lbcream cheese ( 3- 8 oz pkgs)

1 csugar
-
3 Tbspflour
-
1 tsprum extract
-
2 Tbsporange juice...you can also sub 2 tablespoons of the real rum for the extract and orange juice

1/2 tspnutmeg
-
3 largeegg
-
1/2 ceggnog
How to Make Eggnog Cheese Cake
- Mix crust ingredients together and press in the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan. bake at 325 for 10 mins. Remove from oven and cool on a rack.
- In a large bowl mix together well, the cream cheese, sugar, flour, rum extract, eggnog and orange juice.Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour over cooled crust. Bake at 425 for 10 mins....lower temp to 250 and bake an additional 35 mins until centre is just barely firm. Remove from oven to rack and immediately loosen cake from pan rim,. I run a butter knife around the edge first and then undo spring. Remove sides of pan and let cake cool.
- Garnish with chocolate curls.
