Ingredients

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 can(s)
    root beer (12 oz)
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3 large
    eggs
  • GLAZE:

  • 1/2 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    root beer
  • 2-3
    drops of vanilla extract

How to Make Easy Root Beer FLoat Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine all ingrdients for cake, beating until smooth. Pour into greased Bundt pan. Bake 35-40 minutes or unitl an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan about 10 minutes. Invert pan to remove and cool completely.
  3. Combine ingredients for glaze. Pierce top of cake with a skewer about every 2 inches and drizzle over the cake.
  4. Serve with French Vanilla ice cream.
