I've used this recipe several times. We've even used it in our Senior Care Facility as an activity for them to do. It always gets rave reviews. Easiest recipe I've found and it tastes good, too.

Ingredients For easy flourless mug cake

  • 1
    egg
  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    splenda
  • 1 Tbsp
    heavy cream or almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder

How To Make easy flourless mug cake

    Spray mug with cooking spray

    In a small bowl beat the egg
  • 3
    Add all the ingredients to the beaten egg EXCEPT the baking powder. Mix until smooth.

    Add in baking powder and mix again.

    Pour mixture into the mug. Tap the mug gently on the counter to get rid of any air bubbles.

    Cook in microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds. Serve with fresh fruit or whipping cream if desired.
