Easy Coffee Icing

I made this easy coffee frosting to go on a mayonnaise cake (chocolate). It whips up quick and easy. The coffee flavor is perfect and its hardly sweet at all. I was eating the frosting all by itself and I normally scrap off the icing. Great coffee flavor that doesn’t overwhelm your taste buds but entices them!

1 1/2 stick
butter, room temperature
1 Tbsp
heaping instant coffee
1 lb
powdered sugar
2-3 Tbsp
brewed cold coffee

How to Make Easy Coffee Icing


  • 1With a mixer, mix together the butter and coffee. Now mix in the powdered sugar. Blend well.
  • 2Slowly add small amounts of the coffee until the frosting is the desired consistency. Spread on cake and enjoy!
