easy chocolate cherry cake
Nothing that tastes so good should be so easy to make! We love chocolate and cherries together and this dessert is wonderful. When I serve this to company, I always just pass the dish around for everyone to help themselves, and I'm always pleasantly surprised by how much I don't have left over!

Ingredients
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup dried tart cherries
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup butter, melted
How To Make easy chocolate cherry cake

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom of 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 2Spread pie filling in baking dish. Add the dried tart cherries, pushing them into the pie filling. Top with dry cake mix, spreading the mix as evenly as possible. Pour melted butter over top, tilting the dish to cover as much of the top with butter as possible.

Step 3Bake 42 to 45 minutes or until mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges. Cool 10 minutes before serving. Serve with whipped topping or ice cream.
