A fun cake and very good. Nuts and coconut represent rocks Chocolate cake is dirt. Butter mixture that cooks through the cake represents lava from an earthquake.

Ingredients
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1-8 ounce cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 box german chocolate cake mix
- 1 pound box powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup softened butter
How To Make earthquake cake

Step 1Spread flaked coconut on the bottom of a greased 9 x 13"baking dish. Spread chopped pecans over coconut.

Step 2Mix german chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Pour on top of coconut and nuts.

Step 3Mix together 1/2 cup softened butter , softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Drop dallops by spoon onto cake mix. Do not stir.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until tester comes out clean between dallops.
