Ingredients

  • 1 c
    equal
  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips
  • 6 Tbsp
    cocoa,powder unsweetened
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 6 Tbsp
    stick butter softened
  • 1/2 c
    applesauce, unsweetened
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Double Chocolate Brownies

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine equal, flour,chocolate chips,cocoa,baking powder and salt.Beat butter,applesauce,eggs and vanilla until blended. Stir in flour mixture until blended.
  2. Spread batter in 8-inch square baking pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in preheated 350 f oven 18-20 minutes or until top springs back when gently touched. Cool completely on wire rack. Makes 16 servings
