This is my all time favorite its very moist and so easy to make sounds hard but its not go a head and try it you will be hooked and it,s for diabets it can be frozen for up to a year and does no loose it, flavour just wrap in foil and bag it great

Ingredients For dark furit cake

  • 3 c
    raisins, yellow,large dark ,small santian
  • 2 1/2 c
    water may need 1/2 cup more as it cooks
  • 2 c
    pited dates packed
  • 3/4 to 1 c
    mixed candied furit mixture no peal
  • 1/2 c
    red and green canded marachino cherrie chopped
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    cinnimon
  • 1 c
    margaine
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 c
    walnut pieces
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda

How To Make dark furit cake

    #1- mesure all ingeridents out then combine rasisins,water,dates,and furit,and nuts cherries,nutmeg,salt,cinnimon,together in a large sausepan and boil 5 min remove from stove add margine to the boiled mixture

    #2-cool throughly Then add remaining ingerdiants and mix well

    bake in large tub pan or 2 loaf pans grease & flour pan pour in pan add cherries and walnuts to top bake at 350 F on second rack from bottom for 1-1/2 hours half way through the bake time cover with foil wrap to keep getting to dark cool and totaly remove from pan and enjoy
