How to Make Crystal Pound cake
- Cream shortening and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition add vanilla.
- Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition.
- Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
Turn out onto cake plate, let cool. Enjoy!
