Serves 8 to 10
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 - whole eggs
- 4 - egg yolks
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make cruschiki (hp)

Step 1Add salt to eggs and beat until thick and lemon colored.

Step 2Add sugar, butter, and vanilla and continue to beat.

Step 3Fold in flour and knead until dough blisters.

Step 4Cut in half roll very thin and cut into strips 4 inches long.

Step 5Slit in center of each piece and pull one end through the slit.

Step 6Fry in crisco until lightly browned. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
