Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    lemon zest, grated
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 3 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How to Make Creamy Lemon Cupcakes

Step-by-Step

  1. sift flour and dry ingredients, set aside.
  2. cream butter and sugar.
  3. add eggs, lemon zest and vanilla.
  4. alternate adding dry ingredients and sour cream. batter will be thick.
  5. add 1/4 cup of batter into cupcake pan. (i use cupcake papers)
  6. bake at 350 degrees, for 25 - 30 minutes. let cool 10 minutes in pan, then rack cool.
