We made these in my Home Ed class in high school. Have used it millions of times for reunions and when my kids were little. Looks like you have done alot when really you haven't.

Ingredients
- 24 - cupcake liners
- 24 - vanilla wafers cookies
- 3 - eggs
- 16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 24 - maraschino cherries
- 12 ounces cool whip thawed
How To Make cream cheese cupcakes

Step 1Mix with mixer on high- Eggs, Cream Cheese, vanilla and lemon extract and sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 2Place 1 vanilla wafer round side up in each cupcake liner. Pour batter half full in each. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. They will not brown. Don't overbake. Cool completely, Top with cool whip and cherry when you serve them. Store in refrigerator.
