BATTER

1 stick
butter, room temperature
2 c
all purpose flour
1 c
granulated sugar
1 tsp
baking powder
2 large
eggs
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
dairy sour cream
1 1/2 c
whole cranberry sauce
1 tsp
almond extract
1/2 c
finely chopped nuts

TOPPING

3/4 c
powdered sugar
1/2 tsp
almond extract
1 Tbsp
warm water

How to Make Cranberry Coffee Bundt Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350^.Grease and flour or use vegetable spray an 8 inch tube or bundt pan.
    ---
    Batter:
    Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Set aside.
  • 2Mix together flour,baking powder and,baking soda ..Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream; then add the almond extract.
  • 3Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Starting with batter, and alternate layers of batter and cranberry sauce, ending with batter. Top with nuts, lightly pressing into batter.
  • 4Bake for 50 to 55 minutes..Test with toothpick for doneness. Cool completely and drizzle with topping.

    Combine topping ingredients and drizzle over completely cooled cake.
