country strawberry bread
When I was about 23 years old, I was a cashier at a grocery store. One day, close to Christmas, a customer came through my line and had boxes and boxes of frozen strawberries and other baking items. I asked her what she was making and she said “Strawberry Bread”. I told her that sounded so good and I had never heard of it. Much to my surprise, the next day she came back with bread and the recipe,YUMMY ! At that time, my customer must have been at about 70 years old, that was 37 years ago. I share this recipe with people and tell the story. Share the recipe,please tell the story. She lives on!

1 Bundt Pan or 2 Loaf Pans
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 - eggs beaten
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 2 boxes 10oz frozen strawberries thawed
- 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
- 1 cup cocont
How To Make country strawberry bread

Step 1Combine dry ingredients and mix well, set aside.

Step 2Combine all wet ingredients and mix well, add dry ingredients.

Step 3Add chopped nuts and coconut.

Step 4Pour into GREASED pan. Grease, even if it is non-stick pan!

Step 5Bake at 350’ for 50 minutes or until a toothpicks comes out clean.
