Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 1 large egg yolk slightly beaten
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1-1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
How To Make easy coconut pecan frosting (sallye)

Step 1Melt butter over medium high heat in a heavy saucepan. When butter is melted, add condensed milk and egg yolk. Stir constantly until mixture is boiling.

Step 2Once mixture is boiling, remove from heat. Add pecans and coconut and stir until well blended. Allow to cool completely before using to allow icing to firm up.
