Ingredients

1 c
butter (2 sticks)
1 can(s)
eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
1 large
egg yolk slightly beaten
2 c
shredded coconut
1-1/2 c
coarsely chopped pecans

How to Make EASY COCONUT PECAN FROSTING (SALLYE)

Step-by-Step

  • 1Melt butter over medium high heat in a heavy saucepan.

    When butter is melted, add condensed milk and egg yolk.

    Stir constantly until mixture is boiling.
  • 2Once mixture is boiling, remove from heat.

    Add pecans and coconut and stir until well blended.

    Allow to cool completely before using to allow icing to firm up.
  • 3Very quick and easy.
