duncan hines yellow cake mix

coco lopez cream of coconut
1 can(s)
eagle bran milk

lg. cool whip whipped topping

reg. cool whip whipped topping
1 1/2 pkg
fresh or frozen grated coconut
milk

How to Make Coconut Cake with a Kick

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix the cake mix, substituting milk when it calls for water. Follow baking directions for a 13x9 inch pan. Bake until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
  • 2While still hot,poke holes in cake with fork and pour cream of coconut over cake. Spread evenly. Then spread eagle bran milk over that. Sprinkle a small amount of coconut over this.
  • 3Cover and refrigerate at least one hour, I usually refrigerate over night.
  • 4Using cool whip, cover completely. Cover this using the rest of the coconut.
  • 5Enjoy!
