This is a very, very rich coconut cake. Even those who aren't crazy about coconut cake usually like this one.

Ingredients

  • 1 box duncan hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 can coco lopez cream of coconut
  • 1 can eagle bran milk
  • 1 - lg. cool whip whipped topping
  • 1 - reg. cool whip whipped topping
  • 1 1/2 packages fresh or frozen grated coconut
  • - milk

How To Make coconut cake with a kick

  • Step 1
    Mix the cake mix, substituting milk when it calls for water. Follow baking directions for a 13x9 inch pan. Bake until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
  • Step 2
    While still hot,poke holes in cake with fork and pour cream of coconut over cake. Spread evenly. Then spread eagle bran milk over that. Sprinkle a small amount of coconut over this.
  • Step 3
    Cover and refrigerate at least one hour, I usually refrigerate over night.
  • Step 4
    Using cool whip, cover completely. Cover this using the rest of the coconut.

    Enjoy!
