I got this recipe from a family friend many years ago when the Coca-Cola cakes became is still one of the most moist cake I have ever eaten...I especially love the glaze...YUM!

    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa, unsweetened powder
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 c
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    miniature marshmallows

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted
  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa, unsweetened powder
  • 6-8 Tbsp
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make Coca Cola Cake


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 9x13 pan.
  2. In a large bowl combine flour and sugar, in a small saucepan melt butter, add cola and cocoa, heat to boiling - cool slightly. Pour over flour and sugar. Stir until blended. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda & vanilla and mix well. Fold in marshmallows and pour into prepared pan Bake for 40 minutes. Cool
  3. GLAZE: In a small saucepan mix butter, cocoa and cola - heat to boiling. Pour over sugar & mix well. Add pecans and pour over slightly cooled cake.
