I have an addiction to cinnamon rolls and this cake is the next best thing without having to make a yeast dough. Such a hit the first time I made it for a family dinner, there were no leftovers!

butter, softened
1 c
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
flour
1 Tbsp
cinnamon
2 c
powdered sugar
5 Tbsp
milk
1 tsp
vanilla

How to Make Cinnamon Roll Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together flour, sugar, salt. baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Slowly stir in melted butter. Pour batter into a prepared 9x13 pan.
  • 2For the topping, mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Drop evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 for 28-32 minutes or until set.
  • 3Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Drizzle over cake while still warm.
